FTR Player continues to preempt and meet the changing needs of courts operating in remote and hybrid environments. Our industry-leading updates and features give users total control of audio and video channels wherever they are working, facilitating more efficient and accurate transcription of digital court recordings.

Please note: in an effort to enhance security and streamline services, FTR Web Player (Upload & Play) is no longer supported as of April 2, 2025. If you used this feature on FTR Justice Cloud, you can use FTR Player as an alternative. FTR Player is not currently available for Mac; however, it’s still possible to access your audio. Solutions for Mac Users:

  1. Contact the Court. Courts have access to FTR Manager, which can convert our proprietary .trm files into other, common audio formats, such as MP3. Some courts can also provide a link to listen to audio through our cloud-based platform.
  2. Convert the files with a PC. We offer a free, 14-day trial of the PC-based program, FTR Gold Annotation Suite. Using the included FTR Manager, you can convert the files into a format of your choice.

FTR Player’s increased audio-channel counts (now with up to 16 channels) gives users the ability to easily isolate each voice captured on the record. The four-channel HD video recordings provide visual context and cues to aid comprehension and transcription.
