Showcasing the Future of Justice: Live Demonstrations at the Johnson County Courthouse
Thank you to all the Court Technology Conference attendees and local court staff who joined us for the evening Technology Showcase—hosted in conjunction with the Kansas 10th Judicial District—at the new Johnson County Court House in Olathe, Kansas. Together, we explored the power of FTR Justice Cloud and FTR RealTime speech-to-text during a live mock trial.
During the mock trial, we demonstrated:
– The end-to-end benefits of the platform—secure recording capture, storage and access, to real-time speech-to-text, editing, and transcript management
– Multi-language and interpreter capabilities
– Hybrid functionality for seamless remote and in-courtroom proceedings
– Multi-channel capture ensuring every word is preserved during overtalk
– …and much more
The conversations were inspiring—highlighting how AI-based speech-to-text tools, cloud-first strategies, accessibility, and security are shaping the future of justice. At the heart of it all was a shared commitment: using technology to strengthen access, outcomes, and public trust in our courts.
We were proud to demonstrate the power of FTR Justice Cloud in a real-world setting—inside the high-tech courtrooms of the Johnson County Courthouse. Experiencing the technology in a live proceeding goes far beyond booth demonstrations, showcasing how courts can move beyond traditional limits toward a more efficient, secure, and accessible future.
A big thank you to the Kansas 10th Judicial District Court for hosting us and providing the opportunity to share this experience. Your commitment to innovation and access to justice made this showcase truly memorable.
