Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the bus transportation provided by [For The Record] to the above-mentioned event. In consideration of being permitted to travel on the bus, I agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that there are inherent risks associated with transportation and participation in events, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks related to my participation.

2. Release of Liability: I, for myself and my heirs, executors, and administrators, hereby release and discharge [For The Record], its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this event.

3. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless [For The Record] from any and all claims, demands, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of my participation in this event, including any claims made by third parties.

4. Medical Treatment: I consent to receive medical treatment in the event of an injury or illness during the event, and I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.

5. Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of [Kansas and Missouri].

6. 1. Authorization to Photograph
The Subject(s) hereby grant permission to the Photographer/ For The Record to take photographs during the event or session described above. The Subject(s) understand and agree that the Photographer may capture both posed and candid images.

7. Usage of Photographs
The Subject(s) authorize For The Record to use, publish, and distribute the photographs in any manner, including but not limited to:

Promotional material (e.g., website, social media, portfolio, advertisements)

Commercial use

Print or digital publications

8. Ownership of Images
All photographs captured by the Photographer are the exclusive property of For The Record. The Subject(s) agree that they have no rights to the images unless granted by For The Record.

9. Consent for Editing and Alteration
The Subject(s) consent to the editing, alteration, and use of the photographs in any form.

10. Release of Liability
The Subject(s) waive all claims and agree to hold harmless the Photographer and For The Record from any liability or claims related to the use of the photographs as described in this Agreement.

11. No Compensation
The Subject(s) acknowledge that they are not entitled to any financial compensation for the use of their images.

12. Assumption of Risk: I understand that there are inherent risks associated with participating in the Courthouse Demonstration event presented by For The Record, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks related to my participation.
